Deep Purple once again in Belgrade

The famous Deep Purple will hit the stage again in front of its faithful Belgrade audience at Stark Arena where they will perform their memorable hits one more time.

English hard rock band Deep Purple is considered one of the most influential bands in the rock world as well as the pioneer of heavy metal. The band was formed in Hertford, England over half a century ago and the band's first name was Roundabouts.

The recognizable hard sound and great hits as well as the band's long-standing career have made a huge influence on many, also world-famous rock and heavy metal bands such as Guns 'n' Roses, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Panthera.

Deep Purple have also been recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as "the loudest band in the world" and rightfully own the place they have in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
This fantastic band, led by Ian Gillan, has recorded twenty studio albums over an unusually long career. Being very active on tours and with a large number of concerts, they recorded 34 concert albums, as well as 27 best of compilations. During their work, they have sold over an incredible hundred million copies.
Deep Purple last visited Belgrade in 2014 and made an incredibly good gig. However, this was not their only stay in the Serbian capital. They appeared twice at the Fair in 2003 and 2006, and visited Belgrade for the first time in 1975.

Two years ago, this legendary band began their farewell tour called "Long Goodbye Tour". However, due to the great interest of a large number of faithful fans around the world, the band continued to schedule concerts in other countries. To the great delight of the citizens of Belgrade, but also of many from the neighbouring countries, Deep Purple is once again coming to the Serbian capital.
So the biggest hits of these great rock legends will be once again heard live in Belgrade - "The Surprising", "Bloodsucker", "Fireball", "Uncommon Man", "Strange Kind Of Woman", "Lazy", "Space Truckin '" are some of the songs that will be a real treat for all hard sound fans.
