Sava Center was initially built as a conference venue and still remains one of the most attractive locations in our city. It’s situated immediately next to the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, by the high-way and Nikola Tesla Airport.

The construction of the center during the 1970s took a total of three years. The center also includes a renovated parking area with over 400 places.

In addition to conferences and business meetings, the center hosts numerous concerts, music and stage performances, film and other festivals, and organizes meetings and various cultural events. During the 1940s, Sava Center hosted numerous music and movie stars and public figures. The most prominent names from all fields of culture were the honorary guests of the Sava Center, the fact which is proudly mentioned. Today, in addition to its still very significant practical purpose, Sava Center adds to the landscape of New Belgrade with its architecture, evoking the spirit of a past time that is still living, despite the many changes that have brought years behind us.
