This year's BELEF is divided in two parts and was officially launched on June 27, with its second part underway, which includes various cultural events organized throughout Belgrade, until August 29, 2021. This year's BELEF is divided into two sections, the Belgrade Summer Stage and the Belgrade Summer Nights.

Majority of the Belgrade Summer Stage program was held in Kalemegdan Fortress, on the plateau near Pobednik Monument, as well as in front of the Nature Museum. Some plays were held in Atelje 212, or in the Small Theater "Dusko Radovic", as well as on the stage of the Belgrade Drama Theater. The reaction of a large audience was simply fantastic, as they were anxious to finally attend theatre plays, festivals and enjoy high quality art works.

Starting from July 18, the second BELEF 2021 is underway, called Belgrade Summer Nights.
The event will include free concerts, organized every weekend at several locations in Belgrade. Tasmajdan, the Republic Square, the Sava Square, the staircase near Branko's bridge, the Lazaro Kardenas promenade in New Belgrade, Kalemegdan fortress, Gardoš, Lazarevac and Obrenovac will be the venues where diverse but very high quality concerts will be held.

This year’s BELEF is closing on August 29, at the Republic Square with the memorable concert of the RTS Symphony orchestra, led by the well-known conductor Bojan Sudjic.
