“The Music Night” event is to take place on 30th August at Belgrade Usce grounds, with the concert of the Symphonic orchestra and Choir of the RTS, alongside the well-known Finnish band Apocalyptica, consisting of four cello players who are world famous for their attractive performance and interpretation of heavy metal hits using classical instruments.

The symphonic orchestra and the choir of the RTS, on 30 August will be lead by the most prominent active Serbian conductor Bojan Sudjic who will open the spectacular eventing with the programme „Top classic“, which includes the popular fragments of some of the most famous pieces of Stevan Hristic, Giuseppe Verdi, Georges Bizet, Aleksandar Borodin, Franz Suppe, Arturo Marquez, Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Carl Orff.

On the other hand, Apocalyptica will offer its unique mixture of heavy metal and classical music to the Belgrade audience and perform the interpretations of the songs of legendary band Metallica. The programme titled „Plays Metallica by Four Cellos“ is a part of their current world tour where four cello players give a powerful performance of the most well-known heavy metal hit songs.
The entrance to the festival is free and is organised within the Cloud digital platform which will also include some other events this year, such as Belgrade Beer Fest and Belgrade Music Week. The application will be available for all leading mobile platforms in the first half of August and will provide a number of benefits to its users.
